A silent Jedi Master and a royal owlet jump into the Unknown Regions carrying the only surviving map to a world nobody has visited in a thousand years. The owlet is the heir to that world. He is also the reason a man named Hennadyi is no longer entirely himself — and somewhere between the jump and the far side of it, he admits what he did inside that man's mind.

The Jedi Master has buried three dead worlds already. He knows what a weapon looks like before it knows itself.

So, he stands up. And what he does next is not what you're expecting from a Jedi — and not what the owlet is expecting either.
