Having just been cleared of a career-threatening embezzlement charge, he is immediately thrust back into the fire when he’s assigned a high-profile murder case that has the city of Oakland on edge. But there’s a catch: he’s forced to work with a new partner he didn't ask for. As Williams navigates the dangerous streets and the complex web of the investigation, he finds himself fighting a war on two fronts. He must solve the brutal crime before the killer strikes again, all while trying to determine if his new partner is an ally he can lean on—or a threat sent to finish what the embezzlement charge started.

Highlights
- Gritty Urban Realism: Filmed with an authentic look at the streets of Oakland, capturing the intensity and atmosphere of the Bay Area.

- Character-Driven Noir: A deep dive into the psyche of a detective who has lost everything and has everything to prove.

- Suspenseful Partnership: The "buddy cop" dynamic is subverted here, replaced with a tense, suspicious relationship that keeps the audience guessing until the end.

- Action & Mystery: Blending fast-paced street action with a methodical "whodunit" mystery that challenges the viewer to piece together the clues.

Question for the Community
When a detective is returning from a scandal, do you think it's better for them to work alone to prove themselves, or do they need a partner to keep them in check?
